We traveled 434 miles to capture four county courthouses, three counties, and one state park.
On the road
We should have started earlier, but Sonic was calling.

We received a warning there was an icy road warning, but kept an eye on the radar. The skies were just too pretty.

Of course the ducks flying south made us a bit nervous.
Kay County Courthouse – Newkirk OK
Stopping briefly in Newkirk to get a photo of the Kay County Courthouse, I was reminded how much I loved this little town. My children and I lived here briefly in the early 2000’s.
As we passed Interstate 35, I checked the weather radar to see we were going to miss the storm.

Of course, coming from that area, this truck did not miss the snow.
Grant County Courthouse – Medford OK
We made it to Medford to cature the Grant County Courthouse. I thought it was amusing they thought it necessary to defend themselves from us.

On the way home I spied this pretty pond. I turned around so Scott could get some photos. I do think the outcome was amazing.
